11th May 2021 is 40th anniversary of Smerdon centre opening. This is a remarkable achievement. Gina Sloan is the manager of Smerdon Day Centre, who has been with the team for over 30 years.

Smerdon Day Centre is also the home to our Social Enterprises: Dream Cards, Dream Media, and Dream Gardening. Some 120 people with various learning disabilities find happiness and friendship here.

We have a legal obligation as care provider to test and provide proof of negative results each week from all our care givers. You must test and submit your results weekly or face consequences. Deadline to adhere is 10th March 2021.

The Eleanor Cares Awards 2021 is designed for all Eleanor employees who have worked for a minimum of 1 month in the 12 months leading up to the 31st March 2021, and who still works with us. The action/s being recognised must have happened whilst working for Eleanor. The Eleanor Cares Awards 2021 Ceremony has been happened via Zoom at 11am on 27th April 2021. Medals will be available for you to pick up from the branch offices and care homes.
