Senior Dementia Care and Day Activities
Hartley House is just a few minutes away from the famous Union Mill and St. Dunstan’s Church, which houses the prototype of Big Ben. All our rooms are spacious, and comfortable with a lot of outdoor space.
Paula Stanford, the registered manager, leads the team. She has been with the home over 4 years. Our full-time chef has over 25 years of experience in Hartley House. Throughout the year, we host events, themed nights, and activities to stimulate and engage our residents. Our chef prepares foods from across the world for these occasions. Five full-time housekeeping staff run an efficient cleaning service 7 days a week. Our qualified team of carers are trained in supporting older people with a range of age related conditions, including Senior Dementia Care.
The facility is split into four wings – Hardy, Camden, Sackville, and Harris. This structure allows for individual care and attention to be given in small groups. There are separate lounges and dining rooms in each wing, and each has their own kitchenette.
When you are with us you can enjoy a light breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea – all prepared by our on-site chefs, who ensure a balanced and nutritious diet is maintained.
You have the option how you will spend the day with us, with a wide range of activities available, which our team can plan around your hobbies and interest.
